Tesla atkal ir skandāla centrā. Un atkal viss griežas ap vadītāja palīgsistēmas funkcijas darbību.

Kas ir zināms

Vēl 2016. gadā Tesla publicēja video , kurā demonstrēja modeļa X autopilota iespējas. Video izmantoja Elons Masks. Uzņēmuma vadītājs rakstīja, ka elektromobilis patstāvīgi brauc pa pilsētas ielām un pats parko.

 

Kā izrādījās, patiesībā vadītājs atrodas pie Model X elektriskā krosovera stūres. Turklāt 2016. gadā uzņēmuma automašīnas nav spējušas automātiski apstāties pie sarkanā luksofora signāla un turpināt kustību uz zaļo.

Par to paziņoja autopilota programmatūras direktors Ašoks Ellusvamijs. Viņš liecināja tiesā pret Teslu nāvējošā avārijā, kas notika 2018. gada pavasarī. Tesla apstiprināja, ka negadījuma brīdī bija ieslēgta vadītāja palīdzības sistēma.

Ašoks Ellusvami piebilda, ka reklāmas video filmēšanas laikā vadītājs pārņēmis vadību pār transportlīdzekli. Mēģinot novietot automašīnu bez cilvēka līdzdalības, modelis X vienkārši ietriecās žogā autostāvvietā. Tāpat tiek atzīmēts, ka video filmēts pēc Elona Maska lūguma.
