Rīgas domes Ārējās komunikācijas departaments aģentūru LETA informēja, ka trīs ēkas plānots būvēt Mežezera ielā un vēl trīs – Jūrmalas gatvē.
Katrā ēkā varēs izmitināt 16 pensijas vecuma personas, tādējādi pakalpojumus varēs izmantot 96 iedzīvotāji.
Kā iepriekš norādīja Rīgas domes Sociālo lietu komitejas priekšsēdētājs Juris Radzevičs, pieprasījums pēc sociālās aprūpes centru pakalpojumiem tikai pieaugs, jo Rīgā pieaug vecāka gadagājuma iedzīvotāju īpatsvars, un šo cilvēku veselības stāvoklis būtiski palielina aprūpes pakalpojumu nepieciešamību.
Pašlaik uz vietu pašvaldības sociālās aprūpes centros jeb tā sauktajos pansionātos gaida aptuveni 500 iedzīvotāju. Īstenojot šo projektu, gaidīšanas rinda samazinātos par aptuveni 20 %, uzsver Radzevičs.
Projekta kopējās izmaksas var sasniegt 16,2 miljonus eiro, no kuriem Veselības un ilgtspējīgas attīstības mehānisma finansējums būs 7,6 miljoni eiro, bet Rīgas pilsētas pašvaldības līdzfinansējums – līdz 8,6 miljoniem eiro.
Plānots, ka esošās sociālās mājas varētu tikt pārprojektētas nākamgad, būvniecība tiks uzsākta 2025. gadā un varētu tikt pabeigta 2026. gada vasarā.
