Rīgas pašvaldība ir sākusi vērtēt piedāvājumus Dienvidu tilta ceturtās kārtas būvniecībai, informē Rīgas mērs Vilnis Ķirsis (JV).
Politiķis informēja, ka beidzot noslēgusies ieilgusī konkursā iesniegto piedāvājumu iesniegšanas procedūra un sākusies to vērtēšana.
Konkursā par Dienvidu tilta ceturtās kārtas izbūves konkursu tika iesniegtas vairākas sūdzības un vairākkārt tika pagarināts pieteikumu iesniegšanas termiņš.
Ķirsis norādīja, ka piedāvājumi pārsniedzot plānoto Eiropas Savienības (ES) finansējumu, par kura piešķiršanu tika panākta vienošanās ar Satiksmes ministriju – 70 miljonus eiro. Līdz ar to trūkstošie līdzekļi būs jāatrod pašai pašvaldībai, visticamāk, tos aizņemoties.
Iepirkums tiek veikts divās daļās – par Jāņa Čakstes gatves izbūvi no Valdeķu līdz Ziepniekkalna ielai un no Vienības gatves līdz Valdeķu ielai. Katra Čakstes gatves posma izbūve jāveic divu gadu laikā.
Kā liecina aģentūras LETA arhīvā pieejamā informācija, Dienvidu tilts tā ievērojamo izmaksu dēļ sabiedrībā tika dēvēts par vienu no dārgākajiem tiltiem pasaulē. Rīgas pašvaldība tā celtniecībai ņēma kredītu, ko sākotnēji plānoja atmaksāt 20 gadu periodā. Tā izbūves darbi tika sākti 2004.gadā, bet pabeigti 2013.gadā.
Tilta kopējās izmaksas darbu noslēgumā sasniedza ap 570 miljoniem latu jeb vairāk nekā 810 miljonus eiro.
