Latvijas izlases sastāvs staram pasaules čempionātā tiks nosaukts trešdien.
Pārbaudes spēlēs Latvija mājās divreiz pēcspēles metienos ar 3:2 uzvarēja Austriju un divreiz ar 2:3 piekāpās somiem, izbraukumā ar 1:5 un 0:4 zaudēja Šveicei, bet savā laukumā papildlaikā ar 0:1 zaudēja norvēģiem, kurus atkārtotajā spēlē sagrāva ar 8:0.
Latvijas izlasē galvenajam trenerim Harijam Vītoliņam palīdz treneri Lauris Dārziņš, Artūrs Irbe, Petri Nummelins, Ville Peltonens, Raimonds Vilkoits, video treneris Pēteris Groms un fiziskās sagatavotības speciālists Ēriks Visockis.
Latvijas izlase uz pasaules čempionātu Čehijā dosies 9.maijā.
2024.gada čempionāts Prāgā un Ostravā norisināsies no 10. līdz 26.maijam.
