Krievijas diktators Vladimirs Putins soda aizsardzības ministru Sergeju Šoigu par nespēju sasniegt Kremļa kara mērķus, uzskata ASV Kara studiju institūta (ISW) pētnieki.
Putins ceturtdien ticies ar Tulas apgabala gubernatoru Alekseju Djuminu, kas ir saistīts ar algotņu grupējumu “Vagner”. Tas, iespējams, norāda uz to, ka Putins cenšas mazināt Šoigu varu, padarīt viņu nozīmes ziņā līdzīgāku konkurentiem un sodīt par nespēju īstenot Kremļa kara mērķus, norāda amerikāņu domnīca.
Putins, domājams, mērķtiecīgi publiskojis tikšanos ar Djuminu pēc aizsardzības ministra vietnieka Timura Ivanova skaļās aizturēšanas 24. aprīlī un pirms 7. maijā gaidāmās inaugurācijas, lai sodītu Šoigu vadīto ministriju par nespēju sasniegt Kremļa mērķus karā.
Putina un Djumina tikšanās izsaukusi plašas diskusijas Krievijas informācijas telpā, un daudzi komentētāji pievērsuši uzmanību tam, ka tikšanās notikusi laikā starp Ivanova aizturēšanu un Putina kārtējo inaugurāciju.
Avoti Krievijas vadībā pieļauj, ka Kremlis varētu iecelt Djuminu jaunā postenī, kas ir saistīts ar Krievijas militāri rūpniecisko kompleksu.
Iepriekš ticis ziņots, ka Šoigu bijušas tuvas attiecības ar Ivanovu un ka Ivanova aizturēšana, kā arī Djumina atgriešanās priekšējā plānā var liecināt par to, ka Kremlis nav apmierināts ar Šoigu darbu.
ISW novērojis, ka Putins regulāri rotē amatpersonas un armijas komandierus, kas iemantojuši viņa labvēlību, cerot stimulēt dažādas frakcijas viņa mērķu panākšanas virzienā.
